WHAT: On Friday, June 18, Consolidated Theatres will unveil the company’s new big-screen concept, “Titan Extreme Cinema” (Titan XC), which will revolutionize the way Hawai‘i moviegoers experience films. From its newly installed wall-to-wall screen—spanning 66 feet wide and 35 feet tall—to a 75,000-watt digital surround sound system, Titan XC is designed to stimulate sight and sound for an unparalleled cinema experience. Vibrant film presentation from the new NEC digital projection system will be paired with the latest innovation in 3D technology, XpanD 3D, for eye-popping images that are the first of their kind in the islands.
